James is one of the best readers of the game around, which more than makes up for his other weaknesses. "Gassy's" ability to see what is going to happen next before its happened gives him the edge to be one of the best defenders in the local area. Joined Berrow directly from junior football, he played a massive part in two successful seasons at BFC where he picked up the young player of the season award and the players, player of the season award in his first season. James left this season for University but still plays when he is back, usually in the first team.
