Wayne joined Berrow half way through the double winning season of 2001/02 with Jamie Reddish. Wayne originally struggled at first team level but as time has gone on he has flourished to become one of the best left sided players in the area. Tricky, quick and hard working Wayne has become one of the first names on the team sheet in recent seasons and wades in with his share of goals too scoring around ten goals every season.
